i don't think its genuine asylum seekers people dislike, but illegal immigrants get on everyones tits.
people(me included usually) don't distinguish between the two.

The majority of asylum seekers wouldn't go through the lengthy process to gain British Citizenship - they'd just enter the country as illegal immigrants.

Why even blame illegal immigrants? What about the thousands of British Citizens (that were born in the UK and have lived here all their lazy lives) that dropped out of education and now live off the JSA, claiming benefit for whatever sickness they can get away with.

well thats what i was on about when i was on about 'DOLE WOLLERS' i pay tax to keep them alive, it works out as 7hours of my work a week, nearly a day for nothin, but i got a decent accountant this year who might get it back for me lol

Of course asylum seekers are here for the benefits - they'd be stupid not to be! They don't mind working for them however and are far happier to be working in a position shunned by most "job seekers" to be below them.

This is the first time you've mentioned either immigrants (I trust you mean illegal immigrants) or asylum seekers in any of your posts on this thread.

its not the ones who go out and work who people complain about, its the ones who take advantage of our system. For example,

someone my grandad knows was refused a house as they had to put assylum seekers in it, a few weeks later the house had been gutted and trashed because they said it wasnt good enough for them and wanted something better. Did they get put in prision for damage to council property, or shipped off home? No, they got them a bigger better house!

but people get annoyed with genuine assylumm seekers aswell though joff.

OK they have major problems in their own countries, but we have problems here too. We have a struggling health service, poor pensions for old people, rising unemployment, education worsening, etc!
