And yes, although it's free if every member stopped using it they wouldn't be there, they make their money on advertising, and if it wasn't for members that advertising would dry up. Look how popular Myspace was, they sold out and brough new developers in and changed everything and tens of millions of people moved to Facebook.

People don't like change though but they soon come round. People didn't like the old Facebook at first, but now they're begging for it back... The new Facebook will soon be the old Facebook. Each update Facebook does it gets complaints but ultimately the site is progressing in the right direction IMO.

Not a fan. Getting a bit stalker like for people to see into your life. Before it was just a place to put photos up & share opinions or ask for them, now it's a bunny boilers dream.

That kind of information was always available, date of birth, dates things happened, you just had to derive it in the past. If anything it's got more secure for outside people. Gone are the days where you could get full access to a profile just by being in the same network as someone or having them reply to a message that you intentionally sent to get a reply of no.
