Today I had the day off so set too on the car a bit more, as progress has been rather slow with being at work all the time!
First off I hated the way the steering sits so after reading lee's thread. I went down the same route as he did.
Got a corsa column and started to fit it.
Had to make the end of the nova column fit into it so needed to make the bolt pocket bigger
Tested where I want it with some string
Got the front triangulation in for the cage.
And last weekend after a nice 450mile round trip down to philip2's I got these along with a ported c16xe head, double valve springs and all valve gear and a nice SBD 4-2-1 Exhuast manifold, Still need to take pics off them.
Heres the Bueatys
Once I have picked up my bucket seats, I will get them into where I want them, and adjust the steering more, then to tackel the gear shift and hand brake. Lads at work have offered to do all the welding for me for a box of beer which is a absolute toppa!
Oh and these are still Wrapped up in my draws in my room
That is all

Made some more progress, travelled down to south Yorkshire to pick these seats up from andy forest.
So now I can get the drivers posistion better, sit right down on the floor so it should be good
started to sort out some of the rust and cover metal where I have removed part the bulkhead for the itbs.
Good weekend I would say

Stunning! You thought about carbon sheets over the inside of the doors? personally I think it really makes the car alot more 'showy', rather than just having gaping holes. I know my description is crap, but keiran has them in his arden blue XE

Yeah carbon door cards, my mate had some in his corsa. They are on the list but that will be towards the finish, lots of important stuff to do before cosmetics
