Dreadful stuff but then most would probably find Tennents Ice Cold dreadful and I drink that by the gallon

Golden Champion is very sweet. Dad tried it a while ago and said it is better chilled.

You can't go wrong with anything from Hook Norton tbh They've got Haymaker out now, which tastes like the picture on the bottle. Try it and you'll see what I mean. Great summer drink.

All ale tastes better chilled. We serve ours at 10 deg which is quite cold for an ale. Cant do with cellar temp ale, not in summer anyway

Yeah I think that's why I've been more often on the ciders lately, you want something chilled in summer. You lose the flavour with an ale if it's too cold. I keep mine on the worktop in the garage, which is ideal in winter as they're not fridge cold, but usually just the right temperature.

A trick my dad's come up with is to put one can/bottle in the fridge and keep another on the shelf, then open both and mix it half and half. Is a good temperature then apparently, but I haven't tried it yet.

I stuck them in the fridge cos room temperature would be far too warm at the moment
