cola is nice but i prefer strongbow. i found when i did it in cola the flavour didnt penetrate all of the meat and just seemed to flavour the outside. however, with bow it seems to flavour all the way through the joint
mate of mine in work raves about cooking it in cherry cola

i tend to do a gammon joint for 8 hours on slow cook, about 2 inches of what ever your going to cook it in.
i tend to use more though lol

My mum often uses it for Sunday dinner, so when I roll in at 3am after a night out and im starving the kitchen is full of the smell of sunday dinner and I have to resist it and stick with whatever else I can find to eat
