Disco's are definatley not pants for towing. My dad's had 3 and towed regularly with them all. They are top notch.

I pulled a 3.5t boat on a 825kg trailer, wet as well, up a 10degree slipway covered in seaweed and algae and work's disco never skipped a beat. We weren't towing it on the road, it was just to get it out of the water to do some work on it - selected low range and mud & snow and away it went. No issues at all.

3CM - please dont spam these threads.

A jimny is too small, too light, not enough power.

What was pants about it? He prefers the Navara over it? I cant fault the RRS for towing so would have just assmued the Disco (with same engine) would have been pretty much the same.

White RRS - yes but I'm struggling to see past the bling just now. They all seem to have maaahoosive wheels
