Didn't realise I was looking for him

I have a contact who will sort me one out, however I need to supply an old unit for him to work with, which is proving difficult to source.

Fad is reluctant I think, as it's a Mitsubishi turbo which has reported failures on e90post, but.... according to my man in the know, those specific Garrett ones perform less well and are harder to improve upon and work with.

Yeah I am a little closer than you think, just firming up a few bits before I sign up. Just the turbo side holding me back as they only seem to be e46 hybrids knocking around. I keep resorting to the D3 Hybrid but no one knows anything about them

Back to original post, I think yes there is a demand however you just need to get your product/stage tune out there and recognised. Diesel tuning is massive in VAG's and BMW's but due to the lack of products in the Vauxhall range I guess this is why its not so common.

If they all drove like your blue one you'd have them queing that was freakishly fast!

In the first couple of gears yes, you have to change gear sooner, but the top 4 gears are longer, so no need to.

It'll also sit in 4th at 30mph and pootle around town at 1000rpm....

At 4000rpm I'm at about 80 But at 158mph at 8600rpm (not clock speeds, gearbox limited speeds). Show me a diesel that does that

I bet a 335d would do 158. If de-restricted.

It'll probably do that even with the speed limiter tbh.

Not to worry, I am getting my limiter raised shortly After 140 it won't be close enough anyway
