I spend £2-£5 a day on a sandwich/wrap/pasta from Tesco Express.

It would be cheaper for me to bring my own lunch however I save my change every day and put that towards my holiday pot. If I didnt buy my lunch theres no way I would save the amount of change I do.

Therefore buying lunch from tesco every day is paying for my holiday.

Bring in pieces or a pasta pot thing mainly. occasional salad.

Days like today, where I get a subway are more common now I have to make the lunch myself though.

I hate cold food. You do save so much when you make food at home.

Most weeks I'm bad. Couple of KFC's, BK's a week.

Why on earth would you want to do that? Sunday night is curry night and Tuesday night is often take away pizza night, you realise this, right?

That was to Paul BTW.

Trying to stop eating at night purely through cost, was getting silly eating every night aswell as the fact I'd already had breakfast/lunch & dinner that day. I have to be really hungry to eat at night now and I try and go to the bagel shop as not only is it a bit cheaper but it's much nicer & actually fills you up.

I spend about £10-15 every lunchtime so stopped going to work and save quite a bit of money, also saves petrol as that would end up being 50miles a day

Went through a period of bringing soup and stuff to make sandwiches but can't be arsed with it, would rather just pay the 4 quid from the over priced cafe next door.

soup in a thermos with a couple of corned beef sandwiches to dip is hard to beat imo. easy and cheap

Morrisons half an extra tasty chicken 90% of the time, usually buy a wholemeal loaf monday and a week supply bananas, innocent smoothies are half price at minute so been buying them quite regular. I don't mind spending money on food, as if I brought sarnies in they'd probably be plastic ham which is hardly nutritional.

Soup at lunch is good. Quite filling with a bread roll to dip in it too. Got a microwave at work to heat it up in.

I go through phases, could take packed lunches to the office one week, then have breakfast and lunch out spending £10ish a day the next.

Depends whether or not I can be arsed to make them the night before, as I always run out of time in the morning. I had a bacon and egg roll, followed by two bananas, and a pizza hut all you can eat buffet today. About £15... which is a decent weeks worth of packed lunch... I see where you're going.
