i wonder what 2/3 of that money (4k) would get you at Tom's bodyshop (lemass) on here...
I bet it would come out just as good if not better!

Also if it wasnt for the internet and people desperately wanting to gain e-points i doubt people would be half as willing to throw thousands at getting ordinary road cars cleaned, basically people are spending thousands just to impress a forum

on the flipside of it if anyone on here could get away with charging that much and people calling you to pay that then we would all be jumping on the boat, agreed its a massive amount and ridiculous compared to whats involved however if people pay it then they will carry on doing it fair play to them I say.

it is also very well saying it took so many hours so it works out to 30 quid an hour or whatever, but does it REALLY take that many hours or need to take that many? looks like most of them hours are spent taking pictures.

with jobs like this, bit like the building trade, you come up with a reasonable price for the job rather then charge x amount per hour because it starts to get ridiculous

I've been shocked at the prices of all the gear. I've been looking for a polisher and bits and bobs to flat and polish my old nova. I nearly fucking fell off my chair when I followed some links to some of these websites! I mean a bit of 2k wet and dry a quick buff with a polisher and some 3m finnese-it and a quick wax.
But it seems now you need an £600 DA multi speed extra wobble jizz-fest polishing machine with unicorn horn comfort handle. 48 all the colour of the rainbow polishing mops with a scene name like "dodo cum wank mit" then a 24 stage cut and polish system washing off in between with the three bucket method using only deionised panda piss and drying off with Pippa Middleton's thongs. Follow this with 50 coats of the finest wax that comes in a crystal box made out of a mixture ancient Inca virgins fanny batter and the vapour from Haley's comet tail collected on it's fly by in 1066! Oh and I'll need to pay someone at least 75% of the value of the families home to acquire enough interweb cool points or I'll be shouted down for being crap and ghey at cars...
