like i said before if they cant clap you they give ya a ticket or send ya 1 i nthe post

as for cuting it off if they did clap you thats not a good idea they take your reg ext and allow 28 days for a respons ext and ya can get done for criminal damage if ya cut a clamp off ya car

And what if they can't find the clamp, and you say it was someone else's car with your plate? They might not take pictures! My mate got clamped not long ago, but instead of paying for the fine, he spent half the amount on a grinder, cut it off and stuck it in the boot. This was a DVLA clamp as well and he's still not heard anything about it
