Already had the heated seats on in a morning It's not been that cold though, when I've been working outside I've only had a t-shirt on with a bodywarmer and been having to take the bodywarmer off cos it gets quite warm.

Reminds me I need new wiper hinges for the Disco, they freeze up and because the spring is poor once they've been up the window once they just sit an inch away from the glass waving through it at you.

What people expect or think they expect from winter doesn't normally match up with what normally happens.

It tends to be if it's mild before Christmas it's much colder after.
We've had one frosty morning so far but it quickly warmed up later that day. The milder weather has been great for me, in the middle of putting a big roof on, hopefully we'll be on the inside when the colder weather hits.

You should put a bet on and/or become a meteorologist.

You know anybody running a book on whether it will be colder after Christmas than before?
It was a meteorologist who told me of this trend, likewise for the last two years we've had colder than usual Decembers but milder Jan/Feb.

2 years does not a trend make. As we get deeper into winter, ie. December, January, February it will more than likely be colder overall than November, that's just how seasons work though.

Agreed, this November, and October for that matter, have been unusually warm though.

Amen to that! on the plus side, i'll more than likely be doing 6 or 7 day weeks in the van only doing packets. So won't be walking much till New year!

Im within pissing distance from the sea and i cant see no 60ft waves.
On the other hand, 'they' say if you have a hot summer youll have a colder winter. Were still waiting on a decent summer since 1996. Dont know if that term is bollocks though. Id imagine they would say that because if you get used to a hot summer its harder to get used to the freezing weather.
