Time to bump this thread.

Just received 2 Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especials today. Smell and look amazing. Was going to get some Cohiba Lanceros but i dont honestly think i could puff away for two hours-ish.

Looking to get H Upmann Magnum 48 for new year.

Anybody else got xmas cigar plans?

I've got a pack of Montecristo Joyitas (Panetelas) that I brought back from Mexico in October. Probably smoke one on Xmas eve/day, and another on new year. I paid £25 for my box of 5, a bit cheaper than I can find in the UK!

Ordered from JJFox, £15 a stick. Seems to be the going rate. These are medium stength. Now is the time to get some sampler packs as well. JJFox and Cgars are doing some good offers.

its all about the flavour of the smoke and letting it waft around your mouth. Most people don't smoke cigars properly anyway John.

Nopes. Smoking cigars really fucked up my throat and I had to quit smoking altogether.

I brought back a load of Cubans when I was in Cuba (obviously). Still got one left and I'm saving it for New Year I think.

Cafe Creme, ffs...

Usually have one at New Years. Last year I had some one else buy the cigars and he spent a grand total of 5£ on three cigars... was like smoking a stack of paper dipped in tar.

Will be getting something proper this year.

I can personally recommend the "Montecristo A" if it's something special you're after. I brought back a few of these.

At 23.5cm it's a big boy, and it's nice. The longer it is the better the smoke.

Like fuck am I spending 43£ on a cigar!

I need to buy three and that's closer to my total budget.

Think I'll get a 13 cm Cohiba. Seems to get good reviews.

Yeah, i probably wouldn't normally spend £43 on one either, but for a special occasion it would be worth it. Maybe your wedding day or birth of a kid.
They were only the equivelant of £10 in cuba.

I might consider it if I was only buying for my self, but handing over +80£ worth of cigars to the two drunken retards at the New Years party, fuck that.

Moe, that's actually more expensive than the local shop. Think I'm going with the 15 cm Siglo No. III at 16£ a piece.

That tomtom is dear compaired to other online retailers, i would shop around.

Siglo range is supposed to be a good smoke however there is mixed reviews dependant on age.

For a laugh, i would search "ayeayereviews" on youtube. Those guys are funny as hell and sometimes informative.
