I'd say it looks more like hair wax you'd find for sale in a posh salon.

Yeah probably 18 tubs, until they're sold out, and then there's another 18 tubs...

A limited run of 18 Tag watches are going to demand a higher price tag and more exclusivity - but at the end of the day they'll do the exact same job as a pound shop digital number.

End of the day it's not worth getting upset about. It's called marketing

A limited edition run of a (mechanical) watch isn't comparable in any way at all.

18 Watches normally mean something special, it's normally been had crafted by watch makers, of which there aren't that many going about these days.

It'll also have at least thousands of parts.

A tub of some wax that's been mixed in a big soup pot isn't quite the same.

This wax could be hand mixed by experts in the field, of which there might not be many of these days.

This could also have comparably more 'components' (read; ingredients) than similair products

You could also argue that the production of a Tag watch isn't the most exciting thing ever.

Maybe they're not all points I necessarily agree with but it's subjective - your limited edition watch isn't worth the extra 2.5k on top of the 'basic' model. But you'll still pay it just so that you're able to say it's a limited run. Which is my main point, no matter what the product is
