When I start at 6am I get there about 5:50, although when I start at 2pm I get there about 1:30.
There are a few people who get to work really early on my shift, one guy clocks in at 4:45 am when we start at 6am

I start at half 8, I arrive at half 8 on the dot.
There's a prick in the office that likes to use the fact he is normally in at half 7 like some badge of honour when in reality he is a lazy cunt that does fuck all the entire day. I told the Director he was a prick at the Christmas night out on Friday

We have to do a 40 hour week, anytime Monday to Friday.
I generally get to work at 7 as I am awake anyway, then leave at 5.

I normally arrive at 8:10 when I'm meant to start at 8:30. I like the quiet 20 mins before the storm. The guy I share an office with bowls in at 11:30 some days sometimes. He's consistantly 30 mins late

Meant to start at 9am, but tend to start at 8am during busy periods - I'm a IT Project Manager so tends to be busy all of the time
My hours are flexible(ish) which is nice to have

guy at work wakes up at 5:30 am and is in work by around 6:30-7am - he starts at 9am.
Usually doesn't leave until 6:30pm too.
makes you feel lazy doing normal hours

Used to depend on a few things, sometimes late, sometimes just on time, sometimes so early I could get loads done. It's a good bit of time to do things, I'll agree with that.

I arrive 2 hours early roughly, mostly because its a 3 hour drive but bad traffic etc can make it a 5hour drive very easily.

I'm a mobile fitter so if I've got something to fix first thing I'll leave early to be on site for whatever time they want. Or if I haven't got anything on I'll leave home at 8am, and mince about a bit.

Whenever I like really, manage my own time with pretty much no one to answer to unless I miss Project Milestones (which has not happened yet).
Agree with what others have said, you can get a lot of work done outside of core hours as you do not have interruptions.
