I seriously wouldn't stay anywhere else. Not sure if you'll get private rooms to cover all you (probably could) but the beauty of them is that the lift up to them is inside the bar....so no walking through dodgy streets trying to find your hotel if your drinking and smoking there.
Their pints of Heineken are 4 Euro which isn't bad.

Not sure how many rooms it has but seemed to have 3 floors anyway. Plus the apartments are a few hundred metres down the road. The dorms sleep 8 I think.
I can't remember what other beers they had and I don't drink cider lol, but I remember a measure of vodka or whiskey was 4 Euro also.

We have a perfect ambiance for groups but we do not accept reservations for stag nights or sport tours, soccer fans for (inter)national matches and large groups of males.

Shit, didn't realise that, I've only been with one or two people before. Be sure to visit it anyway, well theres about five Bulldog coffee shops around the place lol.

Anytime I go I from now on I've vowed to stay in the Bulldog, just love the bar etc there. They have dorms, private rooms and apartments, quality spot. Should be heading out there in March again.

aye i woudlnt personally try it, they are quite hot on adherign to it and lets be honest, its easy to spot 2/3 groups masquerading when really theya re one

so you see centraal station at the top of the pic? and the large road coming south called Damrak... all to the east of the damrak (and the damrak itself) is the red light district... its not like say nottinghma red light district, the amserdam RLD is an actual area of the city, akin to say fulham in london etc.

here it is mate, what we used to do is catch the tram to Dam square then just walk off down a couple of side streets and your in the red light district in 5 minutes

yep, from centraal, walk east for about 5-10 mins (iirc it moved a bit since i went) and its right there... if it wasnt for the water youd be int he damrak in 5 mins :faceplam: also the metro station a few mins SE of centraal takes you straight to amsterdam arena if you want to go out there

walk, 15 mins max from centre of RLD, you arent really aware the river is there tbh, just bwalk back down the damrak and along from centraal station
