No they don't, they have shocks and springs and do have negative camber from the factory

doesnt make any difference if they have a trailing beam the camber will not alter the only time it will alter is with independant rear suspension

so why is my camber out then. it cant be like that from factory surely. i undrstand it has some but not to the extent i have it

no idea, if therse nothing happened then they are meant to be like it, lowering it wont affect the camber

Must admit mark, yours is stupidly low on the rear. maybe put it higher a bit

If he gets one machined he could get a whole semi circular wedge (for example) made up that covers more of the face of the hub than washers could, with holes drilled for the bolts so that it's just one piece. If you were to use washers I'd be using angled washers you get for putting bolts etc. on the inside of channel.

But before any of this I'd be checking that the car was mechanically sound since lowering

you may notice it more but the camber will be the same, putting anything on it to attempt to correct it will in fact make it incorrect lol

They do have neg camber. I have mine very low at the back and it has quite a gap between the top of the wheel and the arch.

Normally people just use spacers about 10mm to bring the wheel out slightly to fill the arch.

Yes, it will be the same for sure.

But you only need a thin washer to bring it back out and it would make a massive difference to the way it looks and wouldn't give it positive camber.

He's probably thinking of torsion bar axle like peugeots/shitreons.

Ill take a pic of my rear wheels tommorow to show how much they sit in at the top. Its loads to be honest, however the camber is within spec as i did a 4wa on it before Xmas.

Mark, Whats your reason for wanted to adjust the rear camber?

Are you scrubbing tyres or just want the rear wheels to sit more flatter against to arch.

right so we have established that its not due to it being low and that they have camber from factory. so, can i get these shims machined and fitted so i dont have any camber?

tyres have just been replaced due to bad wear on the inside of both rears

If its wearing inside edge on the rear id say rear toe is out to. Which would happen with a slightly bent trailing arm/s. Get a 4 wheel alignment checkdone, then get shims made up to bring it all back inline.
