I insured my LET at 21. Was not possible before.
Shop around, renewals are rarely competetive.

I found mine dropped most when I was 22, but did move addresses, stopped my ex Mrs being main driver who was still 21 and was a year further away from my last claim

Dropped a lot at 21 and 25. Now kinda similar price every year on either policy.

I've been getting quotes on newer cars and find them Cheaper than older cars. Even though they are valued at a lot more.

This is true, on cheaper older cars the ins company is more likely to write it off rather than repair so costs them. Also the older the car the more people have crashed them/claimed for them so get a "rep" (Anyone remember the 80's/xr3is etc)

Mine went up £250 at 31 with an extra years NCB from my price last year, I doubt yours will go down.
