Swiss watch makers would like to make you think that, when in all reality the chinese are making superior movements for pennies
Google 'PAM 318 Special Edition "Brooklyn Bridge" watches...my £80 getat has a near identical movement to the £3k+ panerai (might be more than £3k)

Actually a very nice watch but the strap broke.

I find the straps tend to go first on cheap watches.

i bought a nice top off ebay from hong kong, this was just before xmas, i thought for £7.31 delivered it was worth the risk.
waited ages, got a message from ebay saying the user had quit ebay, so i wrote to him and waited a bit more and eventually one pair of the cheapest socks i've ever seen turned up

Just bought these 3 watches for 99p.
£8.99 postage though, but £9.98 isn't bad for 3 watches.

They come with 3 spare batteries too.

The first 3 are just gash in every sense.
The second one posted actually looks cool, you can tell from the picture it's made from old bits of kit kat wrapper though, will feel terrible.
I'm not saying you have to spend a lot, you don't, they are shocking though, sort of thing you'd get off a looky looky for 5 euros.

I'm not that fussed if they turn out to be cheap as shit. I'll probably end up selling them on for a profit. I'm just really curious to see what they're like.
I reckon the last one will hurt to wear as I wear my watch on my left hand and the 3 chunky crowns will dig into the back of my hand.

That might be an exageration but watches with a real Tourbillion i.e. a 360 degree balance are an engineering marvel and very expensive..
However that watch in the link has nothing that even resembles a tourbillion, its just the seller using exotic words
