Depends how many kids you have. My GFs sister has two kids. Their Vectra is only just big enough for them, especially with two car seats in the back. The boot soon fills up with a push chair and some shopping.

You can't fit two passengers and the kids in the car properly due to the child seats. I can easily see the appeal of a MPV, when you have two or more young kids.

I had a look at the new Meriva for Jen when it came out. Boots are tiny as with all MPV's. Defeats the object of them tbh.

That's lovely but somehow you've posted in the wrong thread

With all due respect you can get an estate that does the job just as well without looking like your riding round in the sunshine bus

If it describes something I agree with then yes. I sometimes repeat jokes that other people have said before as well.

I cant see how getting a much bigger far makes such a difference. Are you're kids born giants then shrink down to normal adult size as they get older.
My 2 year old fits in the corsa just fine. I accept you go on holidays in them but 1-2 times a year.
I go abroad maybe twice a year and its easier to go on a plane, doesnt mean i need to buy a 747 does it?

A mate has a Saab 9-3 Aero (3 door) and 2 young kids and is finding it a bit of a struggle.

Saab boots are huge yet it only just takes their twin pushchair and the lack of rear doors is a PITA to load seats then children into! Always thought it was an ideal family bus before he actually had the kids

Is it the older shape if it's 3 door?

Would be terrible getting kids in the back, especially if it's got electric leather seats that you didn't want to damage.

Yeh W plate iirc.

It's pretty cramped even with the seats right forward and they take quite a while to move forward

Shame as it was mega tidy pre family, now it's looking a little worse for wear (same for the leather )
