can you not purchase a car outright and swap boxes over for a minimal loss? maybe a ridiclous idea, i have no idea on the subaru setups and if its possible? The only issue would be a few K's tied up between purchase and sale

Toby..... Thats my plan.... I thought I wrote that on the 1st post.
it may seem warped but i'd rather spend 6k on a car to swap some bits with then sell on the hybrid mule for a bit of a loss.
I've been pricing up new gearsets for the 5 speed today.... will prob work out about the same cost.

Yes they are friend of mine bought an evo6 tommi from them for 10k without the sva etc plus it need jigging from a rear impact owed him 13k in the end that was 4yrs ago worst mistake he ever made. I did try to get on there last night it's only 30 mins from me

Sorry I read it as of you were looking for a scrapper to break or even a car that is being broken, I would deffo go down the route of swapping it over if you have the cashflow
