I average 6meg on torrents with my virgin media connection. Should see a sizeable change when it gets upgraded to a 120meg connection later this year
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Isn't it 100mb for 50mb customers? 10->20, 20/30->60, 50->100 and 100->120

Yes but the letter they sent me last week said as i've been a 50meg customer for so long they'll bump me up to 120meg. bit pointless really as my pc only has a 100meg network card in it. the router is a gigabit one so i'll probably upgrade it soon anyway.

Looks like it just slows the update calculation giving the appearance that you're downloading at a faster speed. Clearly this is impossible though.

It does work, look at the downloaded data rate flying up in the bottom right of uTorrent
