Compressor is handy, used it for trailer tyres. I'd probably do that mod even if it came with a spare.

obviously if your not into modifying and want a nice looking standard corsa they are great... however if you stick around here it wont be long till your addicted to scouring ebay for bits ect

id personally get a normal one and carry out a few choice mods, lowered -30mm and vxr wheels

i do really like corsa ds as a whole so dont take my opinion to heart and let it put you off one

Good warranty if its brand new. Makes modding a normal one pointless if a lifetime warranty gets voided.

That's probably why all the VXRs look the same in that other thread

I had new cars every time for years and now I don't because they depreciate, but there is something nice about a new one.

I'd quite like a fresh car one day, must be nice knowing nobody has had it and you know the history.

Bloke at work has one. Black, with black wheels. Looks ok. Not spoken to him much about it though.

It's brand new so you'd be able to negotiate a bit

I'd love a brand new car but then I look on Autotrader and see everything else I could get for £14k rather than a Corsa

Dont get it new. Get an ex demo or similar. Reason is, if its under a year old, Vaux round it back up to a normal 3 year warranty. Then, for 550 quid, you can add another 3 years on top. This gives you 6 years warranty. I have done exactly this on a red Limited edition 1.2. I went to the dealer to buy a brand new one because i liked the look of it and the warranty/cheap tax/better fuel really appealed and it all helps when im trying to get onto the property ladder. I got a 4 month old one with 800 miles with a very poor condition leon cupra in px, gap insurance, tax, 6 year warranty for under 10k. Good value imo

The depressing thing is the used values... We bought in a 12 month old 1 owner limited, it did have 30k on it, but we paid £5000 for it!

Thought they only did the 1.6T for the SRi in the D, or did the mean SXi?
