I would do the same with any brand tbh.
This is a common issue with game series, that the 8th game is suddenly numbered 3 because they used names in stead of numbers for every other game. Does my head in.
As mentioned, properly a bit of OCD on my part, but just wish I could shake people and demand an explanation.
Tbh. I'm pretty sure hateboys are way more common on these parts than fanboys. Seeing as there is apparently no middle ground.

My 18 month contact on my 4 ran out this Month so went to a 4S on a 12 month so wont have to wait forever to upgrade should the next Model be released this Summer.
No point hanging on and waiting/guessing release dates. Does it really matter if you dont have the latest phone the minute it comes out?

Not really as i expect it may be out quite a few months before my contract expires. 4S should still be worth quite a bit come mazuma time so works for me

plus after 18 months of ownership my 4 was fucked anyway. been hiking with me, to the beach, abroad, in the bog etc, dropped a million times. home button had stopped working too! so was either use insurance and get it replaced or upgrade.

Had my 3GS for 2 years. It was solid and I dropped it a few times too. Only problem was that it was getting slow.
