Bit like the boy who cried wolf.
He posts so much rubbish, the one time he posts something serious, no-one wants to know.

Go on apprenticeships.org and see whats about in your area. Apply for apprenticeships and hopefully get one. Judging by your post you haven't been to college and done a specific trade etc. So just apply to ones you could see yourself doing.

You're pretty screwed i'm afraid Doyle. You have a job, that in fairness pays pretty well and has good opportunities to progress, but you obviously can't be arsed putting any effort into it. Shit or not, they employ you, you work the hours. I did 2 years in McD's and worked my balls off even though it was a shit job.
There's not much out there at the moment, I assume you've tried agencies? They usually have shitty manual work to offer.
I might be getting promoted soon to a crew trainer, I am currently on £5.10 an hour, I am 21 in 3 weeks, which means I will be on £6.15 an hour, crew trainers are on £6.20
After that its shift manager, I dont want to be a manager at McDonalds.
No, I havn't tried job agencies.
That's actually very poor, a crew trainer on £6.20? Surely not?
I was on £6.20 as a manager there 4 years ago

Will, why don't you apply for a job at Apple?
It's obviously what you have decided your ideal job is in your imaginary world

An apprenticeship might even be harder to get than a normal job at your age. If a company is looking for an apprentice they want someone under 18 so the government can pay their wage, so they aren't really interested in people over 18 unless they just want cheap labour

Doyle, go to your local agencies and ask for manual work, they used to have loads of it as normal people don't want to do it.
Will help you build your muscles and become a real man one day too
