I work in a petrol station and the diesel has run out  we usually sell around Ł18-20k of fuel in a day, we did over Ł30k today and that was without diesel for 5 hours of that shift.
Really annoys me with people panic buying, my car is nearly empty and i still didnt fill up. When i need to put some petrol in and i cant find anywhere to fill it up il just walk or ride a bike

Asda ran out here yesterday. Morrisons big queues all day so suspect they will soon too. Not sure about Shell, haven't been past. I won't need to get fuel till next week so hopefully everyone will realise that they haven't actually announced a strike yet so there is no need to rush out and panic buy

The general public are absolute fucking morons, there were queues at every station I went past today, and the one on my way home that I actually needed to use as the petrol light came on only had Super Unleaded left
The government are utter cunts too telling everyone not to panic, the majority of people instantly panic when they hear that. Also, apparently it's illegal to store Jerry cans at home anyway
The union have to give 7 days notice before they strike don't they? And they'll want to strike when it's most annoying for people e.g. Easter Weekend, so why fill up now  Fucking morons

I just had to explain to someone at work that if she goes and fills her car up when the tank is already half full and she would normally let it get lower then she is panic buying and making things worse. All she kept saying was that she needs fuel to get to work and there "might" be a strike and I kept saying yeah but you don't need it right now so just wait till you do or all you are doing is contributing to the problem plus they haven't even announced a strike yet
She still doesn't get it. Fucking women
