I ran over a black cat last year over there. Went under both the front and the back wheel with a nice bump.

Nothing had has happened so far.

Fairplay for pressing on, but I would have to give the bit of barrier you hit, the finger every time I went past.

19's mate, the 18's are alot heavier than I thought, so I've kind of gone off that idea now, think I'm going to stick with the 19's or get another set if I can...

Wouldn't speak to soon..... They are awesome mate, they don't really make sense unless they're on track IMO. They don't feel fast on the road.

What happend to the spark plug?

I guess it didnt fuck the engine?

Unfortunately, yes got no compression on cylinder 2. I thought I'd got away with it simply because nothing was missing off the spark plug, but clearly I didn't Car is getting recovered tomorrow and a courtesy car dropped off. Bit annoying but I'm really happy with this trip and it happened at the end of the time the track was open so I haven't missed out apart from the GP track tonight. Shit happens

Shouldn't be stupidly expensive, I was going to get the valve clearances done anyway so I was ready for at least £200 for that! Just depends how much damage it's done, compression in all cylinders with 120psi except for cylinder 2 which has 0. So really I think I'm looking at a couple of valves maybe.....I hope

What do you think has caused it? I dont think it will cost too much either, its just the ballache of being miles away I guess! All part of the fun tho eh? Hope the rest of the trip runs smoothly pal!

you have no luck mate. such a stunning car aswell.

how you finding the half on dtc? i leave mine on fully at the moment as i'm a RWD noob but it's far too restrictive, whereas half on dtc can give me some brown pants moments.

I found half on in the M5 (think it was called M Dynamic?) was spot on! Will let you go a fair bit but it always reeled me back in.

honestly don't have a clue mate, will just have to see once its apart! But yeah being in Geemany is a pain & I'm quite worried about the car being swapped between several recovery lorries but I suppose I can claim any damage back from the RAC if there is any!

I hate running with TC on at all now as I find it restricts power slightly but it just wasn't going to happen on the Ring, plus like I say if you're smooth it shouldn't even kick in, it just doesn't really like the kerbs! Best thing you can do is turn it off and just practice giving it a bit on corners to see what it dies, it'll become natural in no time

Some serious overtaking there. Loved it.

What do you mean? Why would they not take it? I didn't get recovered off the Ring if that's what you mean there was no mention of it as the car was outside the Villa we're staying in

Thanks :-) yeah should be running nice, that's why I want a specialist to fix it that knows about these engines rather than some monkeys so it's running back to its best
