If you buy them just to look cool, then might as well save the money.

If you buy them to protect your eyes from the sun, then they are utterly pointless. So are any fashion brand sunglasses like Prada, Gucci, DG or the likes.

You want to protect your eyes in the best possible way? Buy Oakley. Simple.

The rest are like Happy Shopper kids toys and as useful as blocking out the sun reducing glare as them too.

Buy cheap, buy twice as with everything. The quality of "real" sunglasses is amazing. I always used to have cheap ones and after a few months they'd be scratched and generally fecked. Bought a pair of Oakleys 6 years ago and they are still in perfect condition, plus the Polarized lenses are amazing ! Best treat to myself I've bought I think.

Facebook sales pages are flooded with fakes atm

My first pair of Oakley's were bought in 2001 and still look like new despite having been worn a LOT. Rubber nose pads and ear stems have been replaced though.

Since 2001 I've build up a bit of a collection and except for a pair of Nano Wire that the wind blew off a table I've never damaged or lost a pair. Despite the fact that I wear sunglasses every single day all year round.

Sorry, I was going solely on the basis people wear shades to protect their eyes, rather than somekind of accessory, in which case buying fakes for that reason you're a double chump.

Since we're on the topic, can anyone point me in the direction of fake safety harnesses? Cheers.

Not even clicking that link

Can't beat fake ray bans, I lost one pair and sat on another in just 2 weeks of being away. Would have been right fucked off if they weren't a fiver.

If they were legit, you would've taken more care, wouldn't of happened, you'd also not have cataracts.

Most Ray Bans are made in China in the same factory and using the same material as the fake ones.

That's what people who sell fakes tell you. They're mostly made in Italy although certain ones are made in China also.

I had a conversation with someone once who bought a load of fake sunglasses, they spent thousands giving a back hander to a factory to supply them with the proper cases, certificates and shit like that. He's in prison now
