Nothing, they would only make me pay if i wasnt saving money as thats basically what they would do if i gave them money.

your girlfriend pays £450 a month to live at home with her parents! could rent a flat for that.

i payed £120 a month until i lost my job(i then payed nothing) then i got a new job a couple years ago but havent got round to start paying digs again. lol

I said "nearly" iirc she's paying £400 atm... her mum did say she'd drop it down to £300 but that never seemed to happen for some reason

She's going to be moving out later in the year anyway.

I haven't paid anything, but I have been studying and working part time. Think my dad was happy to keep me as long as I was doing something constructive. Now just working and hoping to get a full time job and move out asap.

Living with grandparents, was paying £100 a month but got myself into money troubles so thats been put on hold until i sort myself out, but not being put under any stress to start paying again

I used to pay about £125, but also paid the Internet and Sky bills as well as bought food and cooked most nights. Also did painting, wall building, general DIY to save my Mother massive bills.

Used to pay £200 a month and some bills now and then, didn't realise till I moved out that they had just been saving the money and gave me it back for furniture for the house

I pay £250 and pitch in. I mainly look after the family fleet (service, MOT, wash etc), washing up most evenings etc.
