£50 after I left it hanging out of a cash machine by mistake, took my card and just fucked off without the cash. General life stress at the time + being in a rush ended up equalling me being a retard.

Well I suppose you could say this money was 'Lost'

When I was 18 I used to hang around with my sisters fella quite a lot, basically getting stoned and drinking etc. He got me into betting on hoarses so pretty much most days we'd put on an ecumilator or similar and watch the races if they were on.

One weekend we'd written our bets on a proper sheet and one of us was about to go put it on. My sister was leaving for the shop which was just around the corner so we gave her the money and sheet as the bookies was next door to the shop.

She left and we watched each race, EVERY hoarse romped home with some being 25/30-1 shots. We were literally bouncing the house and saying what we were going to do with the money etc. My sister hadn't come back at this point which was weird but our mum lived 2 minutes away from the shops.

My sister came back about an hour later and we ran towards her screaming and shouting about how much we won!!


Then she sais.....






I didn't have enough money for the shopping so I used the bet money

What would we have won? £87,000 still haven't properley forgiven her and never made a bet on the hoarses since, not even the national.

I sold a road bike a few years ago on egay, met the guy at buxton train station. he took the bike i didnt take my wallet..... left it on the carpark floor.540 quid i think. Me gutted pissed off etc ring the police see if by any chance anyone had handed it in. Yes sir an old gentleman has handed it in all money still intact. cost me a bottle of brandy as a thanku
