Can you cook bacon in a toaster. Would be like a double sided grill.
Toaster would end up fucked with fat dripping all over the place.
Most would just drip down into the crumb tray.
Ah so you wouldn't turn it on its side first?
Idoubt raw bacon would cook that well unless your toaster had a vice like grip.

The bacon will be on its side in the toaster, and the grips will hold it in position.
Is cooking eggs in the micro healthier? Scrambled eggs

cooking anything in the microwave without frying will be healthier but will probably not taste anywhere near as good.

It may be healthier in the sense there are less calories or less fat but in no way is it better for you to nuke your food rather than cook it properly.
Do you believe microwaves to have an effect on how healthy bacon is?
The paper towel method as I described above will effectively drain fat from the bacon, hence rendering it more healthy than, say, frying it on a pan.
Using a grill can have a similar effect, if the grease is allowed to drain.

Healthier than what? You can easily make scrambled eggs on a pan without grease, so then end result would be the same, though I suspect the eggs from the pan would have a better consistency...

I recall there being an argument not that long ago about cooking eggs in the micro, vs a proper cooker/hob.

And you don't find the consistency to be strange? That's the only thing that would worry me about microwaving it tbh.

it does have a strange consistency if you over do it, unfortunately its much more convenient and less tiem consuming to do it in a microwave then to stick on a hob.

By 'healthy' you mean less calories or fat I presume. By 'healthy' I mean leaving the genetic make up of your food alone whilst heating it up.
There is no substantial evidence but I refuse to believe that agitating the molecules of a substance to heat it, before consuming it, is in any way healthier than just sticking it under the grill.
Above all that, microwaved food is fucking rank.

What about using a griddle? You're not frying and fat from the bacon runs away.

There is substantial evidence though!?
All your fears were addressed decades ago, where people moronically thought microwave ovens and nuclear reactors were some how more or less the same.
Heatwaves and microwaves (the type used in ovens anyway) have much the same, which is to say very little, effect on food.
I've never stated that microwaving is always healthier, but it's never LESS healthy either.

I would suggest shoving everything you eat into a microwave was more 'wimpish' than actually taking a bit of time on what you are putting into your body. But each to their own.

bit of a wild assumption there isnt it , i like them both, but sometimes time restricting microwaved scrambled eggs are had, taste fine.
In nearly every other case i cook things properly. you can still probably fry healthier using those low calorie pan sprays and what not.

Scrambled Eggs and Beams are about the only thing I ever put in the microwave and both always taste fine, in fact I find it difficult to identify any really difference with scrambled eggs that are cook in a pan

Show me the substantial evidence from decades ago which proves microwaves do no damage to the nutritional value of food or to your body when you consume it.

Ive never seen scrambled egg being cooked other than in a micro. Without googling a how to guide, i couldnt tell you how to make it using a cooker.
