These are going for 6K now which is ridiculous for the amount of car you get.

How much did you pay mate? Spec is perfect BTW

Very true... only averaging 21mpg but am happy with it for now...

Not sure if you can answer this or not but apparently scoobies need cambelts replacing every 20k?

I average 23mpg in my Hawk STI, can quickly get down to single figures though. A tank of V Power cost £73 yesterday, but as you say it's worth it.

Errrr no Obviously if yours hasn't been changed its definitely due. Just keep on top of the oil changes and you'll be right.

Christ, if you think a standard UK WRX is quick, you wanna take a ride in a tuned STI

Looks great mate But please don't ruin the handling by putting wide as fuck Grid V's on it!

agreed, the rotas do look the business, but only when slammed and when that low it just makes it undrivable, i had mine raised because previous owner had it so low and it drove much better.

the prodrive alloys look spot on imo.

if it were mine i would go full decat, remove dump valve and go back to standard recirc then maybe get map tweaked again, should see upto 340-350bhp on standard VF35 turbo.

what are balanced headers? do you mean tubular? if so then they might be overkill at your power level and actually losing performance.

My guess for the balanced headers is equal length ones? Which will take away a fair bit of burble

Yea plans are:
- Medium/light window tints
- Prodrive alloys (if possible)
- Upgrade stereo/speakers
- Decat (I miss the pops and bangs )
- Maybe get another remap but we'll see...

Car handles so well... my mates stage 2 vxr didn't stand a chance in the bends but wasn't far off mid-top end on the straights! (I would have thought it was quicker top end tbh).

how did you find insurance prices?

I'm paying £530 Fc (£350 Xs) on the 2009 Sti 330s... so well happy and that covers the mods too (with Keith Michaels)

I'm with Keith Michael's too 550 on the RB5

I'd be wary though, when you stop the scooby cover and try and use them for say a 182 Clio they will struggle to match other companies! So you end up losing your months of no claims.
