I tend to wear trousers, shirt and tie (feel naked wearing a shirt without a tie) everyday but rarely a jacket. I find if you don't wear a jacket all the time then suddenly turn up in one people wonder whats going on

I have one suit, can't remember how long I've had it for (at least a year - maybe two) but it was from Burton in the sale. Think it was about £69 in the end Does me well though, but the only problem (in my mind) is it being dry clean only. Going to get a machine washable one soon and use that more than this one.

You can get ones that are designed to be machine washable
Check it. I had one from Next before this Burton one, but it did start to go wrinkly after a while. Was a good couple of years, though.

You can get machine washable suits, they tend to be cheap and shit though.

Only have one suit, bought for my wedding. Bottoms were a bit hipster fit though, so threw them out afterwards.
My degrees of clothing:
Jeans and t-shirt - weekend.
Jeans and shirt - work.
Jeans, shirt and blazer - going out.
Jeans, shirt, tie and blazer - wedding or round birthday.
Nice trousers, shirt, tie and blazer - funeral.
Suit - Own wedding.

I have 1 suit, which I got on sale from Asos and it fit like a glove. Lucked out. I like wearing it but it'd get on my nerves on a daily basis.

You lot must have massive wardrobes
I have 1 main suit that I change about once per year. I buy a jacket and 2x trousers. Dry clean the jacket when required and wash the trousers.

I've got a slim fit grey suit that cost me a fair bit, and I've got a black 3 piece that was reasonable. Just need a navy one now and I'm sorted.
