I know a woman (true story) just had her pug 206 written off, got £1800 from insurance company, bought car back for £111, MOT'd it, driving it again, without fixing anything
seems dodgy to me

Had an accident about 3 years ago, only me involved, had a company ring me the other day telling me that the people in the car i hit had claimed for whiplash, Told the person on the other end of the phone 1. No one was in the other car 2. There was no other fucking car, He still disagreed and proceeded to tell me what car had been involved... they're fucking idiots...

the whole thing is a scam!
I'm 29 and pay £900. I've got over 10+ of OCB and my insurance has never dropped below £650 a year.
Yeah, I've owned some sporty models in my time but still...
I tell you what pissed me off this year. I received my renewal this year and it was about £120 more than last year. So I went onto my insurances website, typed in my details and found out that my insurance was cheaper by £200. So I rang the scammy fooker up and said I wanted to cancel. When they asked me 'why?', I replied "because its cheaper for me to cancel and join as a new customer then to renew so unless you have a quicker way to get me on the cheaper policy, good bye". The guy was fairly sound and managed to renew my insurance saving me £200!
However, it makes me wonder how much these insurance companies are making with people who just renew their policies without checking!
I guess its the same as utility companies
All scammy bastards!
