Just heard an interesting story from one of our salesmen.
One of our service contracts for a copier include financing of "other equipment", which isn't unusual. Client calls up and asks can we explain what exactly this covers, as the guy who took care of it is no longer employed there and they find their service fees way too expensive.
Sales guy looks up the contract, which was inherited from a company that went under a few years back. All the paperwork is a mess, but after a lot of trailing he finds the answer.
Other equipment = £20k 42" B&O television.
Does client own or know about said TV? Nope.
