I haven't.

Not sure why its considered weird tbh.

People watch films alone at home
People go to other places alone
Not as if you talk throughout the film to person you're with

Think it's just not the "done" thing, and people stick
To that

I was thinking I could inflict revenge on myself by going to the Cinema alone - then telling my Dad all about it.

So to make up for it you are going to go to the cinema and not take your Dad.

Seems like you are punishing him really.

I've personally never done it but a few of my friends that love films etc do it.

Don't really think it's weird just wouldn't personally do it.

I usually go on my own. I have a Cineworld card, so I can see as many films as I want for the £15 a month. It means I can go and see all the crap films that you'd um and ah about seeing. If my housemates are working or away, I go and see stuff on my own.

I had a friend that told us he was going to work, he would get up every day, put on a suit, then drive to town and watch films all day in the cinema, then come home and tell us all and his family and GF that he had been to work all day. Went on for a month or so

You are exactly the type of chap that would though.

Necromancer would be the same but again he would have to leave his bedroom.

I reckon Jimmy Bennett appears to other people to be going on his own, little do they known there is really 3 or 4 different people sitting in his seat.
