50 an hour is about right for a good artist, your average street place will be around £30 an hour. I got booked in at Middleton tattoo studio and that was £90 an hour.
The girl who's done my sleeve is £60 an hour

Shite places near where i live are about 50 an hour and the shops are always opening and closing purely because of crap they do.
The good ones further away were 60 an hour but i now believe most are now 80 and they are the shops that have been open for years and have good reputations.
The guy who just done mine was 80 an hour. I had to wait 6 months before he was able to book me in because he is that busy.

Tattooing isnt as easy as what it looks but its made worse by the stupid Ebay kits if people want to learn how to do it properly then they need to seek out a tattoo artist willing to teach them (this usualy costs) then when told to buy a kit then get one and the tattooist will point them in the right direction.
People who tattoo from home keep alot of good tattooist in the trade any way sorting out fucked up work
