Quite like this 964 - http://www.kennydunn.co.uk/used-cars/porsche-911-edinburgh-201243490429422

Wonder what the interesting history is!? Kenny Dunns a reputable indy, but I'd kind of hope it's been used in a bank robbery or something.

Probably but id rather it had been damage in some kind of criminal stand off rather than stacked into a wall. Tempting it is but I'm not looking for a car just now other priorities.

All the 911s I used to work on had oil lines the length of the car between the cooler in the nose and the tank in the quarter if I remember correctly.

They run along the off side sill don't they? Was a common place for the older ones to rust because of the heat and condensation from the pipework.

Indeed Ed. Luckily only on non galvanised cars though. I think I only ever saw about one with any corrosion there.

I guess its probably because it's sitting in a much larger arch.

Only 4mm smaller than the singer brakes.

Email from kenny Dunn about the white 964 tubby

'The “story” is simple some 7 years ago the car was involved in an accident which resulted in an Insurance Total Loss Payout, this was due to the fact that at that time obviously the car was not worth nearly as much as it is today & the required repairs being done by a Porsche Bodyshop made it more economic for the owner to be paid out & the salvage sold to a repairer.
We have photo’s of the car being repaired & have inspected the car ourselves & can confirm that any repairs carried out have been to a very high standard & to look at the car there are no signs of it having had damage or indeed having been repaired. In fact the car looks quite simply stunning!

I have also spoken to the dealer who supplied it to the last owner & the Porsche Specialist who looked after it for the previous owner, both confirm that it was “ a really good car”

I believe that at £30,000 it is really well priced in that a “normal” one would be selling today for £45,000
