Is anyone really surprised at it though? Bayern are getting stronger every year. Kroos has come of age as being the next schweinsteiger, alongside the man himself From back to front they are sheer class.

That defending on the corner gets worse every time you see it, fair enough zonal marking, but surely you've got to man mark their one giant

I don't understand why zonal marking is even used. Mertesacker watched their biggest player run away from him to meet the ball but stood in his zone. A running jump will always beat a standing jump
I know arsenal have had a few tremendous performances in Europe in recent times but if they don't get this back to 2-2 they are out.
