Wheels are a bit marmite but they've grown on me.

Interior has red stitching. The Sport Plus used to come with red seatbelts as standard but they changed the spec and they are black now and red is an option. My dad wanted red, but car was already part built.

I'm pretty jealous tbh. I was looking at C-Class Sports before deciding to save some money and got my Octavia. Then a month later my Dad orders this.

I love these from the front, very agressive looking.

That side profile however is just decades outdated.

Like this shape alot
Although I just couldn't put a private plate on a brand new car, I'd have to wait at least 6 months

The plate is gash. Love the car, hate the wheels. No doubt your dad will be loving it after his old one

no idea why I asked that considering he was picking up a new car been a long day haha, have to agree I'd have to have the 13 plate on for the first few months especially the first day of release

And the fact it doesn't look 21 years old

Really like these mercs. Love the front ends on them! Interior sounds lovely as well.

I said this to my dad. I'd want to pimp about on a 13 plate for a bit, but the dealers paid all the transfer fees etc and my Dad being a tight arse Yorkshireman wouldn't want to take the hit himself so he could drive around on a 13 for a while before putting priavte reg on.

He even delayed the delivery of the car so it was a 13, as it might be worth more if/when he sells. Probs about £500 depending when he sells. Its been sat at the dealers for 3 weeks FFS.

that's understandable. wouldn't want to buy a 62 plate so close to the deadline. we got our focus end of december and that's 1 reg old already

Tbh tho he'll probs keep this about 6-8 years unless he doesn't get on with it, so the newer reg difference will have lost any value by then.

I don't think most people care about reg plates anymore. The numbers are meaningless now. I think they successfully achieved the goal with swapping to the current system.
