Most of them you can log in online to check your score, get a shit score for too long and it can go up.
They are only very very basic trackers, internal aerials, two lives and an earth, usually poorly fitted behind radio/glovebox.
I always thought, would be easy to swap it into another car, like my mothers, or simply leave it in the garage connected up to a battery.

They don't phone but they have a little online dashboard thing, you don't need to do 29mph everywhere, I've done 50 in a 30 zone with the box attached and nothing happened from that, I think they're only turned on occasionally. my brother has one of these hes only 17 and its his first car he can only do like 8000 miles and for top up miles its so expensive.
Id never have one of these in the car
