Gold one looks old and fucked. Been raped by the other dogs I suspect.

Get the black one.

I like the idea of giving a rescue dog or something a home but wouldn't do it. Couldn't trust a dog I hadn't brought up.

PMSL Thanks Ben!

I think we are going to go with Dennis because he hasn't had the injuries Goldie has.

Ah ha. Bless her.

That first pic looks mad. I thought she had to be your baby sister or niece. Then when you said your kids, I was all like...

I would take Goldie, knowing his had injuries would mean there might be less chance him getting a home in the future

The problem we've got at the mo is we both work full time so wouldn't be fair on the dog being left all day.

Get both, they will be much happier together as a pair, they will race eachother when you take them out, I had 2, loved them to bits awesome dogs, both ex racers, when we first had them and let them off there leads in the fields they just ran round in massive circles

All good until they see any small animal move then you will have a mare trying to catch them

Look lovely dogs those two Nismo. A guy near my parents has one. Its really lazy and just plods along on walks, but if it sees a rabbit or cat its gone in an instant and the owner has a nightmare getting her back. She got her head stuck in a fence once too chasing something.

We will deffo be getting one, but won't be for a while. Not sure about others but I couldn't leave a dog shut in the house from 8am till 5pm every day. I know people that do though.

This.

My girlfriend's parents always get rescue rottweillers and the ones that seem like a bit of trouble, as they know no one else will take them otherwise. Always turn out to be lovely dogs once they've got a stable home. Their current one is so soppy.

Alternatively, get both as others have suggested. Very placid dogs, just need lots of exercise.

They don't need lots of exercise. That's a common presumption but its untrue. They spend a lot of the day asleep, or just chilling. Need same amount as any other dog, sometimes even less.

My mate rescues Rotty's.

Fuckin horrible things. Literally cant do anything with them, and when someone comes through the door he has to grapple it, then you have to run into the kitchen and sit in there whilst the dog goes mad

I tried sitting with them once and he decided to take a junk out of my hand for no reason what so ever.

Cant let them off the lead, let them play with other dogs or anything.

I think he is on this 3rd now. Luckily they all die from some disease.

You are a cunt, it's the way they have been brought up. Not all Rottweiler's are like that, I've got one myself. Soft as shit she is.

I love dogs. I donate every month to Animal charities because I prefer them to African children.

- But in my experience of rescued Rottweilers, I believe they are horrible.
