Been to Icmeler twice now, and booked for next year too.
It's next resort on from Marmaris, and is quieter too. Booked in at Hotel Aqua, no1 hotel on trip advisor, stayed there before. Beautiful hotel. People over there can't do enough for you. By all means you have the pests trying to get you in restaurants/shops etc but you do in most places.
Booked for May me, will be plenty hot enough. Late July early August is peak. Seen a pic on Instagram other day of 53c

If it's nothing at all like Alanya, then it might be quite nice...
You must have gone to a shit part of alanya. The part we went to (turkler) was full of 5 star hotels and very clean. You get what you pay for.
Also, alanya castle gave a beautiful view.

I'm going to hisaronu in two week. Can't wait, it's just inland from olu deniz, I went 2year ago and I enjoy it, simple relaxing holiday with enough to do.
This is where I stay, £250 per person for 2week half board.
Bargain for how nice it is
And that includes private airport transfer

We went to Hotel Comino off Malta last year.
If you go along knowing you're in a 70s hotel which stop being improved 10 years ago (but is perfectly clean and has good food) then you can do a lot worse.
We stayed in one of the bungalows separate from the hotel. Quiet, small pool, and cheap as

Also go to a Turkish barber and get a shave and face treatment
I paid £4, got a proper shave, they then pluck all your random hairs on your face and eyebrows, then burn your ear hair and shit like that!
Amazing feeling after haha

We had a turkish bath the first day we was there. They start at about £4 for one from a big ugly turkish man.
We paid £12 each for one in a five star hotel, two lovely women doing it too The mrs wasn't as happy as I was.

Make sure you eat at ''Cheers'' (Hisaronu) have steak. Get down to Olu Deniz and eat at ''Jade'', try to get in there for sunset.
Hisaronu is a bit more lively but also a little tacky in places, you can get the Dolmus (mini bus) down to Olu deniz for 2.50L each (less than a quid)

Been quite a few times, nice place all got done up other year due to being built illegally.
Stay in a nice hotel and not cheap tat and be fine, don't go All Inc as lots of nice places to eat at good value.
Mates just come back from his first visit and already looking to book for next year.
I'm away to Belek soon just for a change of location in Turkey.
Wouldn't hesitate to go back to Marmaris for a sun / beach holiday.

Yeah it's abit tack at night, ill give them places a try, I ate at the white man last time and it was fantastic! I'm yet to have a bad meal in turkey.
I'm quite lucky that my hotel is out of the centre so the night life doesn't bother me.
Get the dolmus into fethiye and go to chalis beach. Quite nice out there

Went to Gumbet its a dump. Ephesus and Pamukkale are really good.
Is Marmaris not the place that a british lad was attacked by Turks and left for dead?

Anyone going there, get your money once you're out there.
We got 50 quid exchanged and the rate was 1-2.84. Out there it was 1-2.96 and it's gone up even more now.

Haha you go for 2 weeks? It's the missus that wants to take loads. That's just for the first week. I'm not spending anything while I'm there. I want to buy car things when I get home
Id rather have more money than needed though
