They signed a Ballon D'Or winner for 50 million that didn't work out, they've signed a Welsh guy that models himself entirely on their best player for more than their best player.
More than a few will raise eyebrows when he isn't as good as him, which will be the case.

Excellent cameo from Bender last night and Khedira was quite assured for Real, aside from one errant pass.
Ronalod's (deliberate spelling mistake, looks better that way) 3rd was genius  although now he is ahead of Henry, so not happy :\ 206 in 204 for Ronalod whilst Bale is the subject of accusations (from me) of raping a sheep outside the THFC trainign ground (true story)

I'm in no way saying he's better than Ronaldo. He's not. But I'm pretty sure their fans don't care how much has been spent. Its not like they're going to go bust.
