Like Spurs will struggle to make the top half, as you predicted.

I couldn't have predicted they would have 100m+ to spend on players. Prediction void.

Back tracking. One man team, you said. Shit manager, you said.

Yep better without bale and 100mil in the bank to spend. Still a shit manager though, though I like Spurs and would be happy for them if Redknapp was still in charge

Clough sacked by Derby

While it's been coming a while, the fans weren't happy, I'm still quite surprised by it, personally (as a non-derby fan living in derby) I think he's done a good job with the restrictions placed on him financially. They're main problem is the lack of depth in the squad, most seasons they'll win a few in a row, get a few injuries then lose a few in a row, get players back etc... I'd be surprised if a new manager can get them any higher than they are now

Being honest I think the league is poor again this season, just this time Manchester United are with everyone else in being poor instead of just being the best of a bad lot. There is not one team that has stood out really, when you are saying Arsenal have done the best so far then you know somethings a bit shit.

I disagree, the league is better this season. Certain teams have moved on and improved their squads greatly, certain teams have stood still and done nothing. Its going to be a brilliant season.

Just because the gap between the big teams and the others has closed doesn't means a drop in quality. The money that's come into the league has meant that clubs can get the players they want (to a certain extent)

Going to come a time very soon where we can't afford to lose another game for the rest of the season if we carry on as we are.
