Less than when they got beat 11 months ago in the same stadium.

Hate to say it as I love to watch them but they are now becoming the team many think they are. All the passing and possession in the world but ultimately utterly toothless. Pep Guardiola's Barca would have won by 5 or 6 tonight.

Messi being injured didn't help but they still lack a striker. Fabregas is quality but isn't a real striker, Neymar might be one day but I don't think Sanchez or Pedro are good enough when comparing them to the new barometer of Bayern and their attacking options.

Thought Celtic were going to nick a win last night, even after they went down to 10 men they had a good chance to score. Barcelona played quite a few hoof it balls and gave away possession a number of times too

Xavi was as poor as I've ever seen him, not sure he fancies the new coaches style of play. He knocked at least 3 or 4 passes out of play which is unheard of.

To be fair to Barca, they've still won every league and champions league match this season, as have Atletico Madrid! And they both drew against each other in the 2 legs of the super cup so both are still unbeaten. Both 5pts ahead of Real already.

I'd hardly say that's form of a declining Barca, and Atletico are certainly on the rise.

Little teams like Celtic and the other part timers really do lower the standard and prestige of the competition though.

Delighted with the Arsenal result. Was very disappointed with how Napoli performed. Was not expected such a lacklustre performance from them.

Their standard of football is declining and Xavi, as an example, has massively dropped in standard within the new managers style of football.

They've also not faced anyone yet other than Atletico, we'll see how they cope in the knockout stages of the Champions League or when they meet Madrid. They now have a Plan B but it looks to be at the detriment of their entire game - they had less possession than Vallecano a couple weeks ago.

Partly why Newcastle don't compete anymore, they were lowering the tone.

I just think its a case of players aging and others being played more to ease them in to become permanent replacements. Fabregas for Xavi being one. Alba out injured is a big loss too.

Think they're allowed to have less possession than a team every now and then if they still smash them 4-0.

Still be Champions League quarter finalists at worst, and a 5pt lead in Liga is quite a head start on Real, meaning they probably wouldn't mind 2 draws in the Clasico's.

he's lucky he's got a good defence in front of him. Put him in a weaker team he'd get found out even more often.
