45mins! it will have gone flat in that time
Doesn't tend to...

Nothing wrong with bottles if it isn't freely available on tap; although drinking shite like Bud/Heineken/Fosters/Carlsberg/Carling and any other wank lager isn't really on unless it's last resort.
Decent ale is what you want to be drinking and if you need to pace then just stick a soft drink or a pint of water in every other pint and purchase snakes to keep the food intake up. And if you're partial to a stout, then leave it 'til the end of the evening.

Never got the soft drink advice, that's the last thing you want after a couple of pints.

If you can't go out and not get leathered you've got problems.
Just don't drink too much. have the odd soft drink. Don't give in to peer pressure.

As said earlier, all day drinking is easier as you won't be rushing any of your pints (as you're a man), you'll be eating during the day too, unless you're an idiot, and you'll probably be bloated before being drunk.
The stag do I went on recently, we started at 8am on the train up, and finished at 2am, and 75% of the people weren't drunk. Admittedly did have a 2 hour siesta while we were clay pigeon shooting, which probably helped a bit too

Granted Becks isn't the greatest, most lagers aren't but i'd say Carlsberg, Carling, Fosters or Stella was worse tbf.

All those are also terrible, especially Fosters
If i have to have a lager than Red Stripe for me, or Estrella Damm/Staropramen. Generally, I'm not a lager fan, far too gassy.

If you see it anywhere give Velkopopovický Kozel a try. Started selling it in the slug and lettuce in Bournemouth about a year ago. Its on my beer list so I tried it and it was very good.
