Im actually glad we didnt get Group E, we'd have sleep walked straight out of that group, not to mention the media branding it the easy group again. Looking forward to it

Fortunately a lot of people will think we're out already, the papers will definitely write us off anyway, so that could be good for us

Guy Mowbray ‏@Guymowbray 46s
Here's the plan. Top the group - then it's Ghana in the last 16, Spain in the quarters, Argentina in the semis, Brazil in the final. What???

If that actually happened, and we actually went all the way, and actually won... I'd cream my pants.

Olivier Giroud is 66/1 for top scorer. Very very possible with the group they have, especially if he continues momentum on from the season. He won't start the tournament at that price.

Agree with that Russ tbh, could of been worse. Suarez is on top form now, he'll go downhill by the cup

Getting really annoyed with the "You've got to play the best teams to win" comment.

No you dont. You dont at all. They could get knocked out before you have a chance of playing them

The papers will not write England off FFS This is tabloid trash we are talking about; The Sun and The Mirror and gutter press like that, that prey on their readership. England will be winning the World Cup for weeks before their first game. Then Hodgson will be up for the sack and replaced before the second because they lost a goal.

It's not a bad group to get really but Suarez will be one of the stars of the tournament and Balotelli has the ability to be as well. Costa Rica have been shite since Paolo Wanchope
