That's no excuse Carl.

Haha I suppose not. I seem to remember it being a spur of the moment thing. Old man bought his first CD player and told us we could all buy a cd. I grabbed the only one I'd heard of. I'm not that ashamed. He was knocking the back out of Kylie around that time.

What year was it Carl?

^^^This was my first 'album'. Along with another two from the same series (Chrimbo presents), plus The Beatles 20 Golden Greats (official and actually on the Apple label, plus i've still got it and in mint cond).

First non compilation album was War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne, the following Christmas.

First single was Live & Let Die by Wings.

First cassette was Complete Madness by Madness.

First double cassette was Now 4.

First cassette single was Real Love by Jody Watley.

First CD single was Oh Yeah by Yello.

First 3'' CD singles were Pacific by 808 State and Just be good to me by The SOS Band (bought em both at the same time).

First CD was ELO's Greatest Hits.

First non compilation CDs were a BB King album (name escapes me) and End of the innocence by Don Henley (again bought together).

First double CD was Hot Rocks by the Stones.

First non compilation (in the traditional sense) double CD was Delicate sound of Thunder by Pink Floyd.

First Mini Discs were You can't stop the Bum Rush by Len, The Roachford Files by Roachford and Maverick a Strike by Finley Quaye (all bought on same day).

Never had an 8 Track, so got nothing on that format.

1997 iirc... I made some good choices for my first CD's, after that I got Busta Rhymes, Notorious BIG, Outkast & Dr Dre which turned me into a proper hiphop head for 7-8 years. Actually posting that has made me go back and have a listen, still not a bad album tbh.

I think this was my favourite track on the album. Dat music video quality...

My mind was made up about her and her little 'ghetto' mob when she said she'd rather her children go hungry than know that white people listen to her music.

I hope they go hungry too. And her. Nasty bitch.

And I will continue to not listen to her music. And not just because she wiped her arse on Roberta Flack's masterpiece.
