The people calling for Aimee Fuller to be sacked as a commentator by the bbc have made me laugh the most. Clearly understood none nor listened to any of the actual proceedings. They weren't cheering at the competitor who fell, it was cheerin for Jenny Jones' bronze medal which was secured at that instant.
I still take more umbrance with Matthew Pinsent and Jonathon Davies presenting slope style, super G and downhill interviews when they haven't a clue about any of them.
Also the people complaining at not understanding the language or technical terms, I'm sorry but just because you don't understand what a triple cork; backside 7 or frontside 5 are doesn't mean that those commentators who do understand should be sacked.
I bet all 300 were daily mail readers or skiers...

When is the ski and boarder cross scheduled? That's really worth a watch.

Shaun didn't produce it today but still rate him as the top.
The height he got on the first move was amazing, over 5m thats almost up to the edge of the roof tiles on a normal house. (And thats ignoring the side of the pipe it self)
The snow is really starting to look sketchy. Looks really sugary like you get at the indoor slopes. Hope it cools down for the ski slope style and boarder/ski cross otherwise the courses are going to get cut up a huge amount

Was pretty amazing the height he got. He made the sport what it is really.
One thing about the winter Olympics is the respect and comradery between the competitors, all of them seem happy whatever happens. Even white once he'd got over the shock of his score

Men's hockey has started today & is usually one of the best events, if you haven't watched it before I suggest giving it a look. It's one of the only Olympic team sports which allows professional players to compete so it literally is the best players in the world
Putin has gone on record as saying this is the one gold medal he wants to win. So it will be fun to see Russia fail

There's a big skill gap in the womens, they even changed the tournament format because of how domination USA & Canada are. And there's no checking which sucks
The mens is a lot closer but there's still a skill gap. Norway, Slovenia, Austria & Latvia basically have no chance. Czech, Switzerland, & Slovakia are good but not elite.
Finland, Sweden, USA, Russia & Canada are elite. Especially Canada, they could have put out their B team & still win a medal

Watched Finland v Austria this morning, decent performance from Austria tbf, had Finland on the ropes early on but then the gulf in class showed. Russia started well here against Slovenia, 2-0 up after 5 mins.

I would love to see a Russia Vs USA final, a rematch of the 1980 'Miracle on ice' game in the US
But it's got to be Canada. And I have a bet on for them so obviously cheering for them But I'd like to see Norway & Slovakia do well too

That is a huge amount to win by. A sport where your talking about 0.05/0.1 ish between the top people each time to be 0.97 after 4 runs a massive.
Rudman was a bit of a disappointment as many thought she was likely to win.
So will they achieve the 3-6 medals. I guess the main hope left is curling. I guess they should at least scrape a bronze there.
