Defender will feel totally different to a discovery, you will either love it or hate it. You are slightly aspergers like me though so i reckon youl love it

Disco seating position is better, the racks on the early ones are far too vague though.
Its better in the 2 but not much. That's the biggest gripe about them. That and the fact they have live axles so you've got a lot of weight to take up bumps.

I've only had a shot of one disco and the steering wheel was at best vaguely connected to the wheels.

Just realised I'm talking shit, the rack isn't too vague at all, the early ones don't even have a rack.
3 does though so that 2013 should be a bit better.
