If you're 4'6" and drive down a lot of straight roads I bet they are great!

Defender will feel totally different to a discovery, you will either love it or hate it. You are slightly aspergers like me though so i reckon youl love it

I'm sure a Discovery will be more comfortable than a Defender

Disco seating position is better, the racks on the early ones are far too vague though.

Its better in the 2 but not much. That's the biggest gripe about them. That and the fact they have live axles so you've got a lot of weight to take up bumps.

I've only had a shot of one disco and the steering wheel was at best vaguely connected to the wheels.

What exactly were you expecting from a 2.7t car? Go kart handling?

Just realised I'm talking shit, the rack isn't too vague at all, the early ones don't even have a rack.

3 does though so that 2013 should be a bit better.

Exactly, proper weirdos on here complaining about vague steering and dents in an off road 4x4 vehicle

I was talking about disco 2. It was worse than that though. As I said, only one I've driven, could have been that car.

Poor mans range rover?

Or maybe half the price and what you need if you stay in the country, have a family, want something that's good off road but not 80k.

Isn't every car what you buy when you can't afford a helicopter?

And I'd be happy using one for most off road jobs. In fact I'd be happy with one full stop. Or I'll keep saving for something I can't afford.

Pointless argument. They're two totally different motors now.
